Religious EducationOur parish is happy to offer religious education options for students as early as 3 years old up to 8th grade. This year, we will offer Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Classes for the 3 year olds till 6th grade, with a new toddler class for birth to 2 year olds. Students in 7th and 8th grade will have sacramental preparation classes throughout the year. For more information on specific programming please read the related section below. All classes have a $10 registration fee. There is an additional $35 program fee for students in the sacramental preparation programs (Grades 2, 7, and 8). Financial assistance is available through the office. Online registration for the 2024-2025 Religious Education year can also be found below.

Catechesis of the Good Shepherd2024-25 Religious Education registration has begun. This year we will offer the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) as the religious formation program of our parish. Children ages 3 through 12 (preschool through 6 th grade) are invited to register. We have a new toddler class for birth to 2 year olds beginning this year. We meet Sunday mornings from 10:15-11:45 at St. John’s School.

First Communion Sacramental Preparation
The First Communion Sacramental Prep program takes place over the course of two years. During that time, your student should be enrolled in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd class, or enrolled at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School. In addition to the formation class, students are expected to participate in the required retreats and folder program. To enroll in this program you must complete a Sacramental Enrollment Form (found in the "Links" section to the left). Details about the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd classes can be found above.

Confirmation Sacramental Preparation
Confirmation Sacramental Prep program is spread over two years. Typically starting in a young person's 7th grade year. To begin this preparation, please complete a reigstraition form (below) and an enrollment form (Found on the "Confirmation Prearation" link on the left). Students enrolled in the program are expected to attend Sunday evening classes, required retreats, and six topic night gatherings.
